  • I can compile data from the lab or other sources, and organize and record data using appropriate formats(A1.6) 

  • I can use appropriate terminology related to the rate of reactions (D2.1) 

  • I can conduct an inquiry to determine how various factors affect the rate of a chemical reaction (D2.8) 

  • I can predict and explain how various factors affect the rate of a chemical reaction using collision theory. (D3.5) 

 

Instructions:

In this assignment, you will run a simulation to observe how different factors affect the rate of a chemical reaction.  

 

Task 

Step 1: Download and print the assignment

Step 2: Read the information provided in the handout.  

Step 3: Use the simulation to collect the data required. Record your observations on the lab sheet. complete the observations and analysis questions provided in the lab.  

Step 4: Submit your lab and verify your answers using the answer key.
