SCH4U - Chemistry 12 (2024-25) - A

In the next series of learning activities you will be introduced to the topic of electrochemistry.  Beginning with important terminology, you will discover how to determine which species gain or lose electrons in an oxidation-reduction reaction through the use of oxidation numbers.  You will learn how to track changes in oxidation numbers over the course of an electrochemical reaction and how to identify oxidizing and reducing agents by these changes.
